dying for sleep
exhausted, exhausted, exhausted... im tired out from today. *yawns* need my beauty sleep soon.
today, i woke up at 8.45 reluctantly, i wanted to sleep longer. i went with my aunty, uncle and cousins to their church. my uncle picked me up from my house and drove all of us there. it was so different from my church but still enjoyed myself. also, as the pastor preached, he painted a picture of the cross. it was quite artistic and creative. he preached on what the jesus died on the cross symbolises -- forgiving us, blessing us, healing us, giving us enternal life. through his preaching, i gained more insight.
after church, my uncle had to leave for work, so the rest of us took the mrt to singapore science centre. it's been a few years since i steped into the place. the centre changed slightly with some water features installed on the outside for people to play and enjoy.
my aunty's company organised a family day today there and we went there to join in the celebration. we had our lunch there, eating the catered food. after lunch, we went to the omni-theatre to watch dinosaurs. one of my cousin who was 4 years old, got quite frighted as it was 3-dimensional. he sat with my aunty during the show as he was too afraid to watch.
after watching, we walked around, looking at the exhibits which were quite interesting. i still remembered some of the exhibits even though i had not seen it for a few years. later on, we went to macdonalds to have a tea break, eating fries to fill my tummy a little.
it was then time to go home, had quite a fruitful day spent outside. it's such a fun day spent after all.
daddy, thank you for blessing me today, allowing me to hear your word once again. today, i want to pray for my fwens who are having problems but are having difficulties to solve them. i pray that you would help them get over this ordeal. i also want to pray for some of my fwens who are going to take their exams soon, i pray that you would give them the wisdom needed to do well in it, bringing glory to your name. for those who are collecting their results, i pray that you would give them a peace of mind, do not let them worry. seeing their results would cause them to give you thanks and rejoice in you. amen.
