happy all the way
WOOTS! im quite happy today. first thing in the morning, received an sms from costa sands informing me about the chalet room number. it brightened up my day.
next, i followed my father who was sending my sister to work. she was grumbling about being late because my father picked her up late. after she reached and left, my father decided to bring me to eat my breakfast. not long after, my sister called and said that she cannot work because she's underaged. so she went all the way there for nothing, complaining and grumbling for nothing.
i went to bishan to buy a bread for breakfast which lasted me till dinner. i had to gobble up my breakfast and take a train down to newton to watch a play at acs barker. in the train, i met vince. i was quite surprised he remembered me and i did not notice him till he tapped me. he was going to toa payoh to do his homework, and i talked to him for a while before he alighted.
i rushed to acs barker only to find myself 45 mins early for the play. i went to watch it with geraldine, karina, kartik, rachel and suxin. we watched the play name arabian nights put up by acjc. i saw a few of my secondary fwens there who still remember me, so im quite happy too. the play was not too bad, wonder how many practises they had.
following that, i went to church. today the pastor preached about thanksgiving. he said that we singaporeans, in general always complain and grumble. even the slightest mistake would cause us to flare up. so no matter what the circumstances, we have to give thanks to god. there are people out there who are more unfortunate than us. so we should be grateful that we are able to live in such a peaceful environment.
daddy, thank you for the blessings that you have blessed me with, for all the things you have given me. i pray that you would make me to be a grateful person, looking always at the positive side and thank you for it. i pray for my fwens that they too will be grateful. amen.
