slip-per

woke up at the usual time of 11. i went to meet nelson at harbourfront where we continue our search of cherry liquer chocolates. we went to the marks & spencer at vivocity where we could not find the chocolate. instead we asked the sales-person whether do they carry it. he just search for a while and said that they do not have. he looked as if he do not know what it was in the first place so we just left the shop empty handed.

in the end, we decided to walk around vivocity and do some sight-seeing. we walked around, with nothing in mind to look at, just killing the time we had. while walking, we saw a person slipped on a cup of coke that was spilled on the floor. seeing her fell gave me a fright, she did not have the strength to stand up. seeing her wear slippers, i thought to myself, are "slip-pers" shoes that allows us to slip. if it is, why do we still wear it, if not why is it called slippers.

after walking around the whole place, we decided to go back home. i went to my grandmother's house to have my lunch which was delicious, as usual.

after lunch, i went home to prepare myself. next, i went to church. today's sermon was quite good as my pastor preached about have an identity as a christian. everybody has an identity if not they are suffering from an identity crisis. we as christians, too have an identity. when we become christians, we gain a new identity and we have to fulfil it. not being a "sunday christian" but a fully-fledged all week.

daddy, i pray that you will allow me to have an identity and obey your word. i pray that you will guide me along the right path. amen.

{ Cause' im dreaming of you- }
