camp
just came back from dinner with my father and sister. i feel like im becoming a pig already. my whole holidays, it's either sleep or eat. i slept for 3 hours because i came back from a leadership camp.
let me start blogging from yesterday. yesterday, i woke up at 11 even though i slept at 1.30 the previous night. guess it's probably the chalet that tire me out. met yingxuan for luch before going for the camp. we ate at junction 8, eating all the snacks which soon became our lunch.
we met gregory at bishan mrt before going to kuo chuan presbytherian secondary school for the camp. the camp was on christian leadership and the first thing we went in was a leadership session. the camp started on the 27th but since i had class chalet, i decided to miss a few days, but the first few days sounded fun. i learned lots of different qualities about being a leader. next on the program was 2 session of electives where i attended military leadership and student leadership. the military leadership session was quite boring as it don't really relate to me. however, the student leadership session was good as it teaches me on how to handle problems in our daily life as a leader and christian.
next, we had our dinner which was bbq. had not eaten bbq for a long time already, but i did not really eat much. i was scared that i would fall ill. after dinner, we had to meet for ministry's meeting where we need to plan for the next 3 months of ministry work. we suggested ideas and kept laughing at some of them till it was almost 1. we decided to continue the next day and went back to the classroom to sleep.
it was a brand new day, and all of us woke up to continue our planning. when we were done, we had to decide a leader to lead the ministry and as majority has voted, huili became our new leader. we went to clear up all our belongings and also cleaned up the place. i even washed the changing rooms which i have not even used.
after cleaning up, we presented our ideas to the audience where i just held the mahjong paper for all to see while huili presented. i make a few new fwens there and even got to know one of jocelyn's room mate. we signed our autographs, and soon it was time to break camp.
yingxuan and i ate at a nearby coffee shop before going home where i took a bath and slept.
daddy, thank you for protecting me and my fwens throughout the entire camp. thank you for your word that i have learnt throughout the entire camp. i want to pray for my friends that they will be able to solve their problems. please help them to have an optimistic mindset of situations and allow them to be happy. amen.
